Social Justice Center has welcomed the second cohort of the Security and Democracy School with the support of the European Union.
During the first session, the Researcher of the Social Justice Center, Lika Chkhetiani, has introduced to the participants the concept of the human security. The second session led by the Co-Founder and Vice-President of the Georgian Institute for Strategic Studies (GISS), Irakli Porchkhidze, was dedicated to the security architecture and the policy planning process.
The group is composed by researchers, journalists and university students that are interested in the security topics.
The school aims to provide participants with the academic and practical knowledge as well as expert opinions on existing global and local challenges, human rights-oriented security sector concept and mechanisms of the democratic oversight.
Social Justice Center hosts the second cohort of the Security and Democracy School during November 29 – December 3.
