Duration: 2015-2016 Year

From August, 2015 by the support of East-West Management Institute’s (EWMI) ACCESS project, Social Justice Center implements the project “Promotion of the development and implementation of the labor conditions and safety inspection mechanisms”.

The project envisages the study of the structure and work order of the newly created labor inspection and the monitoring of its activities, including, with the help of sociological research. The monitoring results will be used in the report document, which should envisage the assessment of the activity and structure of the labor inspection in the light of current practice, as well as, the national and international legislature, and in regard to practices of other countries.

Besides the research component, conducting trainings with employees of various enterprises, journalists, young activists and country representatives on the subjects of labor rights and labor safety, as well as, on the labor inspection is considered in the project. Different types of workshops and photo exhibitions will also be implemented in the frameworks of the project.

The project is implemented by Social Justice Center in the frameworks of East-West Management Institute’s ACCESS program, financed by United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
