Social Justice Center is carrying out the project “Increasing Access to Justice for Discriminated Religious Communities“ with the support of the Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia Activity (PROLoG) implemented by the East-West Management Institute (EWMI) and funded by the United States Agency for International Development. The purpose of the project is to improve the human rights situation of discriminated religious groups and thus facilitate the transformation of the existing unequal legislative framework and practices through legal mechanisms. The project involves strategic litigation on the issues of religious freedom, as well as the problem of early marriage in religious communities, and the identification and elimination of the practices of indoctrination, proselytism, and discrimination in public schools. Information meetings with religious communities on the issue of early marriage constitute an important part of project activities.
