Tkibuli - "The City that dared to strike"
In February 2016, workers of Dzidziguri and Mindeli mines in Tkibuli went on strike. They demanded improvement of working conditions and 40% salary increase from the administration. The strike lasted 16 days.
The documentary was prepared by Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC) in collaboration with Green Alternative under the project " Spotlight on Heavy Industry: The Case of Chiatura " with support of Heinrich Boell Foundation South Caucasus Regional Office.
