Social Justice Center started cooperating with Open Society Foundation (OSF) in 2016, under the framework of which cooperation, Social Justice Center provided an assistance to persons affected by the activities police and law enforcement agencies.
Social Justice Center also worked on abuse of power and on the fact of impunity in the law enforcement agencies as well as on advocacy of the systemic change of drug policy. Apart from this, thanks to the support of Open Society Foundation, Social Justice Center works on the research of political and social exclusion of local Muslim communities in Pankisi Gorge and Adjara regions, which aim is to provide systemic and participatory advocacy of the recommendations based on the preliminary research and also to provide strategic litigation on the facts of violation of human rights.
